I've spent the last month allegorically licking my metaphorical wounds, and not incidentally recovering from a busted hand. That sort of thing will keep you from typing as much as you might like.
I haven't been completely idle, however,
In association with Ms Eileena York of Citizens Involved and the Burtonsville Business Association, as well as an increasing number of other players, we are organizing the District 4 Group. Stay tuned, the name may change. We have yet to determine if we're going to be a Civic Association, a Business Association, a Political Action Committee, or just a bunch of people who like to go to meetings with other people who like to go to meetings.
In any case, there's a new website for people in District 4. Please stop by and visit DISTRICT4MC.ORG.
It's a wiki using the same software as WikiPedia, so you might already be familiar with the presentation style. Any residents of District 4 are invited to come on by and give it a try. Make your voice be heard.

Public Service Announcement
I have to pause for a moment to point out to people who want to get the view from all sides, from right in the middle of District 4, please go read Just Up the Pike. This is blogging at its best, from a well-educated and articulate "youngster" just hitting his stride. Expect great things from this, actually, it's great now. There is timely news coverage, considerable detail and photos of things that the mainstream press has just plain missed. Also, there are interviews with all but one of the candidates for the position of County Council, District 4. Read them. Be wise.
